The history of Reifen Diehl began in 1948, when Eduard Josef Diehl opened his first independent gas station on the grounds of his parents’ home. Another location on Mainzer Landstraße followed as early as 1950. Additional stations were established in the 1950s, including in Offenbach and Gustavsburg.
In the 1960s, the network of locations was further expanded, including in Liederbach, Rödelheim, Bonames, Hanau, and Eschborn. A decisive milestone occurred in 1966: With the expansion of its product range to include all types of tires, the company, with the involvement of Rolf Schild, developed into a specialized business focused on tires and wheels.
In 1978, the location in Hofheim am Taunus was opened, which continues to play a central role in the company to this day.
In 2018, the Frankfurt am Main / Griesheim location was expanded to include a master auto repair shop. Since then, Reifen Diehl has offered not only tire and wheel services but also comprehensive automotive services all under one roof.
In 2020, the range of services was expanded to include a mobile truck tire service, enabling the company to serve customers even more flexibly and directly on-site.
A new chapter began in 2025: With Andreas Schild and Kai-Uwe Schild, the third generation took over management and is leading the company into the future with fresh ideas and a clear focus on modern mobility solutions.
Today, Reifen Diehl stands for quality, experience, and customer focus in the areas of tires, wheels, and automotive service. With two company-owned locations and a strong network of partners, the company is one of the established leaders in the Frankfurt am Main region. The focus is on expert advice, reliable service, and personalized support.
