Schedule your next Main inspection / MOT in Frankfurt am Main now!

Is your car’s next general inspection – also commonly known as the "TÜV" – coming up? Then you’ve come to the right place at our auto repair shop. We are an officially recognized inspection center for all makes and models.

The General Inspection (HU) is a legally mandated assessment of a vehicle's roadworthiness and environmental compliance, which must be conducted by official inspection organizations such as TÜV, DEKRA, GTÜ, and KÜS. However, it is also possible to have this inspection performed at a certified repair shop. This examination is required every two years. The exhaust emissions test (AU) is also carried out as part of the General Inspection.

Scope of the Main Inspection

The inspection procedure is conducted in accordance with established guidelines.

We check the functionality of the brakes, steering, electronics, lighting, fuel system, exhaust, chassis, axles, tires, wheels, rims, windows, and mirrors. The vehicle's interior equipment is also subjected to a thorough examination.

The Goal: The Inspection Sticker

If the vehicle meets the TÜV requirements, it receives the current inspection sticker affixed to its license plate. This sticker serves as proof that the vehicle has successfully passed the Main Inspection (HU). It also indicates the scheduled date for the next inspection. The decisive advantage of visiting our workshop for your TÜV inspection? We can rectify minor defects immediately, ensuring that the inspection sticker can still be issued.
